About Your Facilitator
Amanda is a passionate guide and visionary in the world of holistic recovery, offering her work from a place of deep lived experience. Having found freedom from methamphetamine addiction at just 19, Amanda has spent over two decades walking the path of healing — grounded in holistic harm reduction, self-discovery, and a commitment to vibrant living in mind, body, and spirit.
As the founder of Breath.Dance LLC, Amanda brings wisdom, authenticity, and heart to every space she holds. Her journey took a transformative turn in her late 20s when she became the primary caregiver for her mother after a traumatic brain injury. This experience deepened her understanding of trauma and inspired her to seek holistic methods to support healing for herself and those around her.
Amanda is a bestselling author, Peer Recovery Coach, Qualified Behavioral Health Assistant, and abstinent holistic practitioner. Since 2009, she has taught and practiced a wide range of healing modalities including Holy Fire III Karuna® Reiki, Sound Healing, Hatha Yoga, Breathwork, and tools rooted in the Medicine Wheel. With a trauma-informed, compassionate approach, Amanda has worked with individuals and families across generations, creating safe, accessible spaces for emotional regulation, spiritual connection, and embodied growth.

Amanda is the most authentic person I’ve ever met. She’s also the first person (for me) to have demonstrated and embody so much power, yet instantly and freely CRY because she was filled with so much love and compassion. (I always viewed tears and vulnerability as the opposite of strength).
True story: I’m 5ft tall and weighed 231 lbs. I kept ending up in the ER and having multiple surgeries because I had overzealous scar tissue (internal) that would grow and wrap around my esophagus. I was being strangled from the inside-out. Amanda explained how suppressing my voice was manifesting in my life. She held space for me- screamed, yelled, and cried till I was able to do it and match her in volume. Long story short- I lost over 100 lbs and the viney/ web scar tissue? My CT last month (I get follow-up cat scans every 6 months) showed NO signs of it. None. No trace.
She is my sister, angel…just love her and so happy for her.
