This series is offered exclusively by Breath.Dance LLC, a Colorado organization dedicated to empowering those who serve others through accessible, trauma-informed holistic practices.
Each workshop is designed to offer practical, embodied skills that build upon one another, creating a unified approach to personal and professional development. From grounding sound baths to empowering breathwork, and foundational yoga to insightful planning with the Medicine Wheel, these trainings equip you with the ability to maintain balance and clarity. Together, these skillsets will allow Recovery Professionals to sustain their vital work without depletion, offering a deeper, more centered presence to their clients.

Somatic Sound Bath for Recovery Professionals - 90 min
Workshop Description:
As a Recovery Professional, you provide support for others daily. The Somatic Sound Bath for Recovery Professionals is a dedicated space for you to nurture yourself. Whether you are navigating vicarious trauma, professional fatigue, or simply seeking space to replenish, this workshop experience honors the essential truth: you cannot pour from an empty cup.
This 90-minute workshop is a dedicated container for personal healing, regulation, and restoration. The experience blends gentle somatic movement with vibrational sound healing, and offers a nurturing pause to recalibrate the nervous system, release residual tension, and reconnect to inner resources.
The workshop begins with trauma-informed somatic practices—breath, micro-movement, and grounding—to create a centered sense of safety in the body. Harmonic tones from Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, and ambient instruments as well as vocals support the individual through the remainder of the workshop in accessing profound rest and an energetic reset.
This Somatic Sound Bath workshop offers essential restoration for sustaining your compassion and presence as a Recovery Professional.

The Elemental Breathwork for Recovery Professionals workshop is a powerful, accessible practice designed to restore balance in the nervous system and help reconnect you with your personal innate elemental intelligence.
This workshop blends diaphragmatic, holotropic, and pranayama breathwork techniques to guide you through the elemental forces of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. Each element is linked to a specific breath pattern, offering unique energetic effects and deeper exploration. Rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern science, this practice activates the vagus nerve to regulate your nervous system.
Through conscious breath and optional sound, the Elemental Breathwork for Recovery Professionals workshop will help you cultivate the self-awareness to move from stress and reactivity to thoughtful response, providing essential skills for your coaching practice and personal well-being.

Whether you’re brand new to yoga or returning to your mat, this workshop meets you where you are, offering modifications and space for individual exploration.
Guided from the ground up, this workshop gently unlocks areas of stored tension and emotional holding in the body. The Medicine Wheel for Recovery Professionals: A Pathway to Clarity & Balance workshop offers a practical, holistic planning tool to support intentional action in your personal and professional life. Rooted in Indigenous wisdom and adapted respectfully for modern use, the Medicine Wheel provides a visual and energetic map of the human experience—mind, body, spirit, and emotion—each represented by the four directions and connected to the elements: Air, Fire, Water, and Earth.
In this workshop, you'll explore each quadrant of the wheel through guided reflection, elemental connection, and key questions designed to help you assess and plan in vital areas of Recovery Coaching. These include personal recovery and well-being, professional relationships, family and community connections, and finances and your physical environment. You'll learn to use the wheel as a powerful tool for self-observation, reconnecting with your inner wisdom and aligning your actions with your values.

Group Holy Fire ® Reiki I&II Certification
Training Description:
As a Recovery Professional, you dedicate yourself to guiding others towards healing and empowerment. To sustain this vital work and enhance your capacity for deep connection, developing your own energetic awareness can be profoundly transformative.
The Group Holy Fire® Reiki I&II Certification offers a thorough and comprehensive introduction to energy healing. This program uniquely combines both Reiki I & II levels, integrating the Western lineage introduced by Mrs. Takata, traditional Japanese Reiki Techniques, and the profound Holy Fire® healing energy. Upon completion, you will be fully certified to give effective Reiki treatments to yourself and others.
This comprehensive training skillfully blends lecture, group discussion, demonstration, and ample practice time. You'll gain hands-on experience giving and receiving complete Reiki treatments, utilizing both Byosen scanning—a technique for sensing energetic imbalances—and the traditional hand placement system. Dedicated practice sessions are provided for mastering all Reiki II symbols and applying essential Japanese Reiki Techniques, ensuring you develop confidence and proficiency in delivering powerful energy healing.

About the Wheels of Change Facilitator-
Amanda is the visionary and owner of Breath.Dance LLC. She embodies her life in service and confidence. In her late 20’s her mother survived severe brain injury. Amanda was her primary caregiver. She sought holistic remedies to help manage the trials she and her family were facing.
Amanda experienced addiction at an early age. At 19 she woke up ready for change and was able to quit methamphetamines. Since, she has been on a path of holistic harm reduction and recovery; rediscovering her passion for healthy living in mind, body, and spirit.
Amanda is a bestselling published author, Peer Recovery Coach and Qualified Behavioral Health Assistant, Holy Fire III ® Karuna Reiki Master/Teacher, Certified Breathwork and Sound Healer, 500 hr Hatha Yoga Teacher and practices abstinence from all mind altering chemicals striving to share holistic tools for self-regulation within the recovery community.
Amanda has been a holistic practitioner and teacher since 2009. Modalities include Holy Fire III Karuna ® Reiki, Sound Healing, Hatha Yoga, Breathwork and tools based on the concepts of the Medicine wheel. Amanda has worked with her communities in her private practice and as a supervised PRC/QBHA in association with licensed therapists for many years mentoring and teaching a range of ages 5-75 the way of self regulation.
Amanda is a compassionate teacher with a trauma-informed approach, who creates accessible and intentional spaces for growth, healing, and personal discovery.
